Stone Repair

This was a typical window encountered on the restoration of a 1940’s estate. Steel lintel inside the headers rusted and the stone became cracked and broken.

The brick, stone and lintel had to be removed. In the meantime, details and shop drawings were produced for the fabrication of new stone.

The steel was replaced and proper flashing was installed. Now, the window is ready to accept the newly fabricated stone and the brick above is rebuilt.
